TESTIMONY OF CAROL ANN FOWLES

Here you have the full interview:

HELLO CAROL, TELL US ABOUT YOU

My name is Carol, I have lived in Pilar de la Horadada area for about 17 years and quite few of my family and friends have bought property in the area slot 777. So, when they were looking to sell for different reasons, they asked me to help them, to find somebody. Because the English way of selling properties and the Spanish way of selling properties is quite different.

HOW DID YOU MEET BLANSAT?

Being in the area I have seen the shop, going up and down the High Street. Well-advertised, also in the local papers and also talking to my Spanish neighbours who told me that the Company had been going for quite few years so were reliable.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION?

Friendly, not pushy, made me feel quite comfortable and professional.

WAS IT DIFFICULT TO SET THE SALE PRICE OF YOUR PROPERTY?

Round about, in England you normally walk into an Estate Agents and they tell you what your house is worth. Over here is slightly different; you ask what you would like for it.

So, we had an idea, as it was my daughter’s apartment we were selling ligapedia , we had an idea what she wanted but we took advise from Antonio because he knows the area, he knows the market, and he was able to guide us to the right price.

WAS IT DIFFICULT TO SELL THE PROPERTY?

I think we were quite lucky. It didn’t take very long at all, we didn’t really have time wasters, and the price was right. So with the first one I think we were waiting about 4 – 5 months; and after that really was round about the same, between 5 – 7 months.

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO SELL THEIR PROPERTIES?

Listen to the advice you are given; make the apartment or house as presentable as you can, so the people can put their own stamp on it.

Remembering that the market is slightly different, so you have to be realistic, people are looking to have nice things in there… if you are leaving your television; make sure is advertised well.

HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH BLANSAT?

Very successful. I think so far there have been 5 sales of family and friends, and they all have been very very happy with the outcome.

Selling when you actually not live here is quite difficult so they took good advice, they have done what is asked of them and it was all made quite easy.

IN CONCLUSION…

I would have no problems recommending Blansat. You are going to be told the truth. The market can be difficult but I think the thing to do is listen to local advice and go with it.
